Additionally, he has earned his MBBS from the university as well as his M.S. in surgery and M.Ch. in pediatric surgery from PGI. Fellow, National Academy of Medical Sciences; Fellow, American College of Surgeons. Authored almost 460 scientific articles. More than 130 pediatric surgeons through training. Developed numerous novel surgical techniques for kids. In 1998, the Advanced Pediatrics Center at PGI established a Pediatric Surgery Department. Extensive experience performing surgery and treating urological issues in children. Particular competence in genitouria issues, anorectal malformations, kidney blockages (hydronephrosis), posterior urethral valves, vesicourethral reflux, urinary tract infections resulting from obstructive disorders, undescended testicles, pediatric hernias, hydrocephalus, meningomyelocele, esophageal atresia, and other conditions related to neonatal surgery, gastrointestinal disorders such as constipation or Hirschsprung’s disease, and pediatric tumors Neck Swellings, Hemangiomas, Lymphatic swellings, Hypospadias, Antenatal Counselling of mothers for newborn deformities. Throughout a lengthy academic career, received numerous honors, gold medals, and operations.
